Katherine McDaniel

Katherine McDaniel is the Director of the Cyber Legal team at T-Mobile, where she advises on cybersecurity law, privacy, and compliance, helping the company align legal strategy with business and security objectives. She provides guidance on emerging products and services, ensuring compliance with evolving cyber laws, regulations, and best practices. Katherine collaborates closely with cybersecurity, fraud, compliance, and investigations teams to manage legal risk and support enterprise resilience. In addition to her work at T-Mobile, she teaches cybersecurity law and leadership at Seattle University School of Law and the Albers School of Business & Economics. Katherine began her career in private practice in New York and is a graduate of Yale Law School and the University of Washington.
